Day #2 ASPEN

Yesterday was so fun! We went for a walk and then skiing at Snowmass Mountain again, but this time the sky was clear and the sun was shinning beautifully, so I didn’t have to wear layers and layers of clothes. I love skiing with this kind of weather!! After exercising all day long, we stopped at Boogies, an 80′s style cafeteria where milkshakes are delicious. My boy got one of those and I prefered a cherry coke, it’s my favorite drink ever! We spent another awesome day here in Aspen, stay tuned and don’t miss any of our “night looks”!!

SPANISH: Ayer estuvo demasiado divertido!! Desde muy temprano salimos a caminar y después a esquiar a Snowmass de nuevo, pero esta ves lo disfrute mucho mas, pues el cielo estaba despejando y el sol pegando delicioso. No tuve que usar muchas capas de ropa y me encanta esquiar con este clima. De premio por mi ejercicio de todo el día, fuimos a Boggies, una cafetería ochentera donde las malteadas son buenísimas!! Esta ves preferí una cherry coke, es mi refresco favorito! Otro día espectacular aquí en Aspen, y sigan pendientes que ya vienen los looks de noche!!

Flying trench

I had a very fun day with my sister! First we went to our favorite coffee place, to grab a hot horchata, and then we went to see the new Margiela Collection for H&M at the H&M’s Pop-Up Showroom. After that, we had another event, actually it was the opening of a shoe store that I really like, called Julio de Mucha, who has amazing and very original shoes for all men an women. I got a beautiful pair!! We where very hungry, so we stopped at a sushi place called Moshi Moshi, and had some rolls and green ice tea. We also did a little shopping!! At the end of the day and of our whole tour, I was exhausted, so I returned home, took a bath, read my book, had dinner and off to bed. For this very adventurous day I wore; a trench coat (basic item to have in your closet), with a turtleneck and black pants. Animal print booties and bag as my accessories.

SPANISH: Tuve un día bastante divertido con mi hermana. Ahí les va el itinerario… Primero fuimos a Cielito por una horchata caliente, luego de eso nos fuimos al Pop Up Showroom de H&M a ver la Nueva Colección de Margiela, que esta impresionante!! Tuvimos otro evento de la apertura de una tienda de zapatos super cómodos y hechos a mano de manera muy artesanal, llamada Julio de Mucha, hasta salí ganona con un par de mocasines divino. Luego se lo enseño!! Nos dio hambre y fuimos al Moshi Moshi, y aprovechamos para hacer unas compras. Regresé a mi casa exhausta a bañarme, leer más de mi libro, cenar y dormir. Fue un día activo y estaba medio nublado por lo que use un trench coat, un cuello de tortuga, pantalones y como accesorios; botines y bolsa de leopardo.

Greek dress…

My sister brought me this beautiful dress from Greece a few months ago, and I couldn’t use it until now. I’m spending my day at the pool, cause the sun is shinning beautifully, and I need a little sun tan for my pale face and legs. I’m weaing no makeup as you guys can see, but it’s enough with this dress, that looks very elegant and with the propper heels, it turns to be very original too. My big bag,cause everytime I come the pool I love to bring a bunch of stuff. I’m ready to enjoy my day at the SPA! Have a beautiful Sunday!!

SPANISH: Mi hermana me trajo este vestido de su viaje a las islas griegas y me encanta, pero no había tenido oportunidad de usarlo,hasta hoy. Voy a pasar el día en la alberca, ya que necesito urgentemente color para mi cara y mis piernas, que parezco fantasma. El sol está divino así que con suerte y quedo muy bronceadita!! No traigo maquillaje pero no importa potque este vestido hace todo mi look, se ve muy elegante y escogiendo unos zapatos adecuados, se ve todavía más cool. Siempre cargo con bolsas enormes para la alberca, porque meto de todo un poco, pero ya estoy lista pasar un dia muy agradable en el SPA. Que disfruten ustedes también su domingo!!

Glitter shoes…

I’m truly and deeply inlove with this glitter shoes!! They are so cool and they look so sexy, that I could wear them every night. They don't look comfy at all, but I assure you they are. I like this combintaion, cause it's elegant and simple; a black body top with a leather skirt and a studded clutch. I had this very cool party and I was very excited trying these new poses, so my very kind boyfriend took advantage of that and here are the most weird pictures hahahaha. We definitely had lots of fun at the shooting!! The lights weren't our friends though, but I think it looks very natural. Hope you like my look!!

SPANISH: Estoy demasiado enamorada de estos zapatos de diamantina!! Se me hace que están y se ven super sexy y si fuera por mi me los pondría todas las noches para todos los eventos jajaja. No se ven cómodos verda? Pero si están! Me encanta como se ven con todo lo demás negro; en este caso un body, una falda de piel con flecos y la bolsa de mano. Los zapatos ya son todo lo llamativo y resaltan increíble, por lo que usarlos con colores sobrios fue una gran opción. Me emocioné de más por la fiesta a la que iba y porque me gusto mi outfit y mi novio se aprovecho de eso y de mis bailes y movimientos raros pero nos divertimos en el shooting!! Para rematar la luz tampoco fue nuestra mejor amiga, y las fotos están un poco exóticas, jajajaja pero espero les guste mi look!!

Neon detail…

Today was kind of windy, so I had to wear a sweater. I love these kind of sweaters cause they are so simple, but just by adding a cool necklace or a pin, they transform into a very cool piece of clothing. These jeans are my favorite ones, and I chose neon accessories to finish my look. Mixing colors such as; white, black, blue and brown, with a neon acccesorie,is what I like the most. It turns to be very chic and femenin.

SPANISH: Hoy estuvo medio nublado, por lo que tuve que usar suter. Este tipo de suéteres me encantan, porque son demasiado sencillos, muy básicos y se ven bien con todo. Además solo agregando un collar padreo un prendedor, podemos transformarlos de pieza sencilla a pieza super cool en nuestro closet. Estos son mis jeans favoritos y agregando accesorios en neon le dio tro giro a este look. Me encanta usar neones cuando mis prendas son en colores sobrios, porque resaltan de una manera increible. Hacen de cualquiera de tus looks algo chic y femenino.

Mexican look…

I found this pictures I thought I had lost on one of my memory sticks, from September 16th (Independence Day). I celebrated with my boyfriend and his family at “Las Mañanitas Cuernavaca”. It was a mexican party, so I wore a mexican tradicional hand made cap, with flowers in bright colors and silky texture. To match with my beautiful cape, I chose some green pants and a white shirt, pink accessories, a purple clutch and golden shoes. First we had a delicious mexican dinner with my favorite mexican dish the “Chile en Nogada” and later there was this party, pretty much like a fair, with lots of activities and games, such as; marbles, lottery, darts and much more. There were a bunch of mexican candies and snacks too. The decoration was incredible, I coudn’t help talking lots of pictures!!

SPANISH: Por fin encontré estas fotos de la fiesta del 16 de Septiembre, que tenía en una memoria que no encontraba. Pase el día de la independencia en Las Mañanitas Cuernavaca en una fiesta muy divertida que era mas bien una feria Me puse un rebozo/capa hecha a mano en colores deslumbrantes y textura de seda. Pantalones verdes y camisa blanca, porque aunque no quería parecer bandera, quise verme muy tradicional. Primero tuvimos una cena de cuatro tiempos muy típica con mi platillo favorito el “Chile en Nogada”. Terminamos de cenar y empezó la fiesta, jugamos canicas, lotería, dardos, y un sin fin de cosas mas y disfrutamos de puestos con comida típica, como esquites, churros, y una gran variedad de dulces mexicanos. La decoración estuvo fantástica, te sentías en una gran fiesta mexicana, no pude evitar tomar muchas fotos!!

Leather leggings…

Yesterday I was invited to a very fancy dinner at LIPP Le Braserie in JW Marriot Hotel here in Mexico City. I love this palce and specially, french food, but this time three great chefs from Aspen Colorado, cooked some of their popular dishes. They were all delicious and I spent a wonderful time with my brother in law and my boyfriend. I chose some leather leggings, with this long and shinny sweater, an elegant necklace, hig heels and a clutch. I love my outfit!

SPANISH: Este outfit lo use para una cena que tuve ayer, en LIPP Le Braserie del hotel JW Marriot aquí en México. Me encanta este lugar y la comida francesa, pero en esta ocasión fue el “Festival de Aspen” y tres super chefs cocinaron sus platillos mas populares. Estuvo muy rico y la pase increible con mi cuñado y mi novio. Para esta ocasión decidí usar unos leggings de imitación piel, un suéter largo, zapatos altos con pedrería y una clutch con cadenas. Me encantó mi look!

Choosing tonight’s outfit…

I’m choosing tonight’s outfit and this is the exactly same dress I wore yesterday (during the day) but now I’m wearing it, to go to a party. It is a little black dress, and I just added a pencil skirt with waves, a fancy belt and also these nude bellet style shoes. This necklace is one of my sister’s (Michelle Torres) latest jewelry designs (available in gold and silver), and I think that it’s a perfect option for tonight, cause it’s kind of shinny, almost like a disco ball, which makes it more fun. I need to choose a clutch, maybe I’ll bring a silver one or a black one. I haven’t decided yet. You guys have a great night!!

SPANISH: Estoy escogiendo mi outfit de esta noche y este top/vestido que ven, es el que me puse con la camiseta debajo el día de ayer, en un look casual. Quise transformarlo ahora en una opción divertida para la noche, por lo que tuve que agregar esta falda de lápiz con bastante volumen, zapatos estilo ballet en color nude y un cinturón con toques plateados. Este collar que traigo es de los últimos diseños en joyería de mi hermana Michelle Torres (disponible en plateado y dorado) y es ideal para la noche, ya que brilla casi como esfera disco, jajaja. Nose que clutch llevarme, estoy entre una negra o una plateado. Cual sera?? Disfruten su noche!!

Mini black dress..

Hey guys! How are you? I wanted to wear a very fresh mini dress today, cause it’s sunny and beautiful. I found this mini dress on my closet, and I thought it was a very good idea, to transform it into something casual. It is a very short dress so I had to wear flat shoes and also I had to cover the cleavage a little, so I’m wearing a vest top underneath. I love to wear belts up to my waist!! They give my body a very feminine shape. OH! I can die for vintage accessories, such as this crocodile handbag. Lovely!! <3

SPANISH: Bonito día! Hoy amaneció muy lindo, por lo que quise usar un mini vestido muy fresco, para aprovechar el solecito. Encontré este vestidito negro arrumbado en mi closet, y quise transformarlo un poco, en una opción casual y de día. Lo único que hice fue agregar una camiseta debajo, para tapar el escote y usar zapatos bajos, para evitar sentirme incomoda caminando por las calles, y que no se vea todavía más corto. Me encantan los cinturones corte a la cintura, porque te crean una silueta en el cuerpo, súper femenina. Uf, me pueden matar los accesorios vintage, como por ejemplo esta bolsa de piel de cocodrilo. Hermosa!! <3
